Blue Lace Agate (Gemsona)

So back in May, I got hit by some fannish inspiration and wound up making a Steven Universe gem OC.

Blue Lace Agate is a calm, sweet, and friendly little blue gem from Earth. She can be naive and occasionally a little clumsy, but she always means well.

Blue Lace Agate was created in an Earth Kindergarten. However, she wound up staying in the ground for far longer than was necessary, emerging when the Rebellion was long since over. Thus, she is a smaller size than her kind typically are.
She knows what gem she is, and has a general idea of her abilities. However, she is unaware there are any other gems residing on Earth. She also knows nothing of Homeworld or the Rebellion.

• Normally, she is quite calm and positive.
• She is a peacekeeper by nature and strongly dislikes fighting.
• She loves making others happy and making them smile.
• Normally she is relatively good with words. If she is very upset though, she may say something in the heat of the moment that she doesn’t mean.
• She loves to support and help others. If she is unable to help however, she may become upset or saddened.
• She can be somewhat graceful at times. Sometimes she can get carried away though and may make a fool of herself.
• She can sometimes have her head in the clouds and be a bit oblivious to things.
• Despite normally being quite calm, she can sometimes become very emotional, usually under stress or in difficult situations.
• She is too quick to trust others, and thus can easily be taken advantage of.
• She is good at singing. most of the songs she knows are learned from hearing humans sing them. She doesn’t quite understand a lot of them though.
• Due to how long she remained in the ground, she is about the size of a human child.
• Her gem is located on her arm, as a play on how she wears her heart on her sleeve.

Blue Lace Agate has white hair worn in a fluffy upper ponytail. She has light blue skin, and gray eyes. She wears a dress with a poofy skirt and sleeves. The dress is mostly medium blue, with bands of slightly darker blue around the sleeves and skirt. The sleeves and hem of her skirt have light-colored lace.

I also came up with some info for the gem type itself.

•Blue Lace Agates aren’t very high in the Homeworld hierarchy.
•Blue Lace Agates weren’t wideley used in the rebellion, due to their typically smaller sizes compared to most quartz soldiers, and unintimidating appearance. Despite this, they were used on occasion, usually as a diversion.
•Due to their natural calm nature and their aversion to conflict, rebel Blue Lace Agates tended not to get involved in things during the war. Some joined the cause anyway however, acting as motivational speakers for troops and occasionally even fought as well.
•Blue Lace Agates are enjoyed for their singing and vocal abilities. They are often arranged into choirs to sing for the listening pleasure of higher-up gems.
• Blue Lace Agates tend to be shorter than quartz soldiers, but are not the shortest of gems.
•Blue Lace Agates have the ability to fly. They also have aerokinesis, allowing them to manipulate the air and wind around them.

Most blue lace agates on Homeworld tend to have white hair, gray eyes, and light blue skin, and their clothing tends to consist of dresses, usually somewhat ellegant and with light-colored lace in places.
